The short version: MyShiftCalendar stores nothing about you on our servers. Your shift preferences live in your browser only.
1. Data we do not collect
MyShiftCalendar stores all your preferences — your shift pattern selection, anchor date, team, and any custom settings — locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We have no database of user data.
2. Google Sign-In (optional)
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's OAuth service. This information is used only to identify your session locally in the browser — for example, to associate saved preferences with your account. We do not store your name or email address on any server. If you sign out, this data is cleared from the browser session.
3. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool built into our hosting provider. It records only aggregate metrics (page views, referrers, country) and does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. No individual user is identifiable.

4. Advertising
This site does not display third-party advertising and does not use any ad networks (no Google AdSense, no ad exchanges, no retargeting pixels). You may occasionally see self-promotional panels linking back to features of this site — these are static content with no tracking.
5. Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, clearly labelled with an "affiliate" marker. When you click an affiliate link and visit a third-party website, that third party may set their own tracking cookies. These are governed by the third party's privacy policy, not ours. 6. Children
MyShiftCalendar is a workplace tool intended for adults. This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.
7. Your rights
Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove locally stored preferences, clear your browser's localStorage for this site (Settings → Privacy → Site data in most browsers).
If you believe we hold personal data about you, please contact us via the feedback link in the footer and we will investigate within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our data practices change. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We recommend checking back periodically. Continued use of MyShiftCalendar after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
